The Economy Won’t Change Until We Wake Up!
Today’s economy started a long time ago. It has created a downward spiral since the time of the feudal system of kings who needed financing for their wars. (Hasn’t changed much has it?)
Those kings entered into an alliance with the emerging bankers of Europe who realized they could make money by lending the people’s gold and charging interest. The suggestions were accepted that a new type of money be created–fiat money–money by decree.
They created money out of nothing. If you double the amount of money not backed by anything of value, prices go up–we call it inflation. Then there is a need to create more money to pay the interest. We’ve experienced this many times.
What we don’t understand is that inflation is a hidden form of tax, but since we don’t see it on our tax bill or paycheck, we tend to ignore it and just work harder, trying to make the money stretch further.
The Federal Reserve is a power elite that isn’t a federal agency at all and therefore not answerable to the people directly. The power elite is not concerned about the nation paying back the debt as long as we keep paying the interest and allowing them to create more money out of nothing so they can keep their money machine rolling.
This perverted money system is a form of economic slavery that most people don’t understand and so don’t object to it. We must take responsibility for stopping this runaway economy. There’s no way the power elite wants to curb their greed and power. They are trapped in the consciousness of wanting something for nothing, of wanting to reap the reward of other people’s labor.
We must educate ourselves as to the true reasons behind why we have to work harder and the money is not stretching as far as it used to. If the people are not willing to take responsibility for our society and the money system, then we draw unto ourselves those who are willing to pervert the system and take advantage of the people.
